Farmers are prosperous and well-off.
Since the new rural development program was strongly implemented in the locality, Mr. Le Van Thang's family (village 3, Quang Minh commune, Hai Ha district) has boldly re-planned their garden, focusing on developing a vegetable growing model. Under the regular support of the commune's Farmers' Association, Mr. Thang has actively participated in training courses on vegetable care techniques, selecting new high-yield vegetable and root varieties to replace traditional vegetable varieties. At the same time, he has focused on clean production, using microbial fertilizers to improve product quality and ensure safety.
Currently, Mr. Thang's family is cultivating about 3,000m2 of various vegetables, such as: cucumbers, squash, pumpkins, tomatoes... Income after deducting expenses reaches over 100 million VND/year.

Not only in Quang Minh commune, but also in many other rural areas in Quang Ninh , farmers' lives are becoming more and more prosperous and rich. Up to now, the average income in rural areas in the province has reached 84.14 million VND/person/year. The whole province has no more poor households and has reached the finish line 3 years early for the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction for the period 2021-2025.
Implementing the criteria on income and production development, Farmers' Associations at all levels in the province have actively accompanied and supported members and farmers to increase their income through implementing economic models and deploying fund capital sources.
