In 5 years, the province has attracted 5.5 million visitors, achieving revenue of over 9,400 billion VND, affirming the position of tourism as a key economic sector. In social security work, with the spirit of "no one is left behind", Dien Bien province has also completed the support of building over 22,300 Great Unity houses for poor households - a model highly appreciated by the Central Government and recommended for replication; The poverty rate of the whole province has decreased to 17.66%.

With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", the Congress took place from October 14 to 16, aiming to comprehensively evaluate the results of the 2020 - 2025 term, determine goals, tasks, and development solutions for the 2025 - 2030 period, creating a breakthrough to bring Dien Bien to develop quickly and sustainably.
