Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh stated that by 2026, Vietnam strives for GDP growth of 10% or more, with GDP per capita reaching about 5,400–5,500 USD.
It is expected that the average CPI will increase by about 4.5%, social labor productivity will increase by about 8%, the poverty rate will decrease to 1-1.5%, total social investment capital will be equal to about 36% of GDP, export turnover will increase by 10%, and the urbanization rate will reach 47%.
The Prime Minister emphasized that the Government will focus on promoting growth model transformation, boosting digital economy , green economy, circular economy, developing semiconductor industry, artificial intelligence, and investing heavily in strategic infrastructure.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh affirmed that in the context of many fluctuations in the world economy, the Government will operate proactively, flexibly, resolutely and creatively, mobilizing maximum resources to successfully achieve the growth target, turning Vietnam into a modern industrialized country with an upper middle income before 2030.
