
Accordingly, at 7:00 p.m. on October 20, Tra Linh commune authorities discovered a landslide risk at Kon Pin peak (village 2, Tra Linh commune), where 29 households are living.
Immediately afterwards, the Commune Civil Defense Command inspected the situation and assessed the danger level of the landslide risk point.
“The crack is about 50 meters long, a few dozen meters from the residential area, showing signs of directly affecting the households living below. The People's Committee of the commune directed the forces to coordinate with the people to evacuate 8 households with 34 people along with their assets and household items to a safe shelter at night. The remaining 21 households have also been mobilized to evacuate to a safe place,” informed Mr. Trinh Minh Hai, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tra Linh commune.

Currently, the People's Committee of Tra Linh commune continues to maintain a 24/7 standing force to monitor the weather, grasp the situation of the landslide area to promptly respond if the situation becomes more complicated.
