Presenting a report synthesizing opinions and recommendations from voters and people, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien said that voters and people are happy and highly appreciate the revolution in reorganizing the apparatus and implementing the 2-level local government model.

Believe in the fight against corruption, waste and negativity

According to the report, the Party and State have issued many policies to improve people's lives such as: completing the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses; exempting tuition fees for students; providing regular health check-ups, reducing and exempting hospital fees; investing in building boarding schools in 248 land border communes; and promoting the construction of social housing so that low-income people can improve their housing.

Voters and people also highly appreciated the 9th session of the 15th National Assembly for removing bottlenecks and continuing to perfect the political , economic, cultural and social institutions to promptly serve the state apparatus after the merger and reorganization. At the same time, they believe that the fight against corruption, waste and negativity will continue to be carried out vigorously, achieving many very important results...

However, Mr. Chien said that many opinions are still concerned and worried about the US tariff policy, although there have been adjustments, there are still great risks for Vietnam's key export industries; the impact of global inflation, unpredictable fluctuations in gold and real estate prices on the domestic economy .

Another problem is the natural disaster situation, "storm on storm, flood on flood", causing very serious consequences, seriously affecting life, property and life; flooding and traffic jams have not been effectively resolved in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City; fraud has not been thoroughly resolved. Along with that, the work of receiving citizens, resolving complaints, petitions and denunciations in some places has not received due attention; administrative procedures are still slow, not meeting people's expectations. The situation of commune-level officials and civil servants "both redundant and insufficient" needs to be addressed more thoroughly...

Early implementation of new wage policy

Based on the opinions, Mr. Do Van Chien said that the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front recommends that the Party and the State continue to direct resolutely and issue guidelines and measures to organize the implementation of the two-level local government after the arrangement and merger; ensuring that it is truly streamlined, compact, efficient, effective and efficient. At the same time, pay attention to directing the reception, synthesis and acceptance of opinions from all walks of life contributing to the Documents of the 14th National Congress of the Party; pay attention to successfully leading the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, selecting those who are worthy of "virtue, strength and talent" to shoulder the work of the country and the locality.

At the same time, pay attention to investing in and upgrading digital infrastructure; synchronize national database information on population, land, etc.; resolve and reduce administrative procedures in all areas of social life; soon complete the determination of job positions and corresponding number of staff, thereby implementing the new salary policy.

The Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front also proposed to strengthen leadership, direction, inspection, and strict handling of state agencies and authorized persons who do not implement or do not fully implement, or do not comply with, the provisions of the law in the work of receiving citizens, handling complaints, denunciations, petitions, and reflections, causing resentment among voters and people.

In addition, continue to lead and direct more resolutely and effectively the work of preventing and combating the production, sale and transportation of counterfeit and poor-quality goods; the impersonation of state agencies, taking advantage of cyberspace to threaten and defraud, causing panic in social life; resolutely detect and strictly handle those who spread false information, harming the interests of organizations, individuals, the Party and the State...
