[Video] Piloting the introduction of artificial intelligence into general education from December

The Ministry of Education and Training plans to pilot the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) content into the general education program from December to May 2026.

The content framework includes four knowledge streams: human-centered thinking, AI ethics, AI techniques and applications, AI system design; differentiated by level of study.
In primary school, students are introduced to AI through images, voices and initial awareness of personal data protection. Middle school focuses on understanding the operating principles, practical applications and risk identification. In high school, students are guided to design simple AI systems and career orientation.
