VietinBank donates 1 billion VND to join hands "For the poor" and social security

On the evening of October 16, 2024, the People's Committee (PC) and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Hanoi City held the Launching Ceremony of the Peak Month "For the Poor" and Social Security in 2024. At the Ceremony, VietinBank donated 1 billion VND to respond to the Program.

Launching the peak month "For the poor" and social security in 2024, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi Nguyen Lan Huong emphasized: The peak month "For the poor" in 2024 is an opportunity for each agency, organization, unit, enterprise and people to demonstrate the "Spirit of mutual love" through practical and specific actions to share and support the poor and people in difficult circumstances; join hands to realize the goal of supporting housing for poor and near-poor households; provide livelihoods, create social security support, help the poor have the opportunity to change their lives and have a better life.

The peak month "For the poor" and social security is an annual event, with great significance in joining hands to help poor families, families in difficult circumstances, victims of natural disasters and the disadvantaged in society.
