Viettel cooperates to develop artificial intelligence with UAE partner

(CPV) - According to the agreement, the two sides will cooperate in developing generative artificial intelligence (AI) (creating images, text, videos based on existing data), AI for operating smart cities, big data analysis solutions for businesses and developing AI human resources.

On October 30, the Military Industry - Telecommunications Group ( Viettel ) announced that Viettel Data and Artificial Intelligence Service Center ( Viettel AI) has just signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Presight, the leading big data analysis and generative AI company in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The signing ceremony took place in Dubai within the framework of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's working session with businesses of the two countries.

At the meeting, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh assessed that Vietnam and the UAE are increasingly strengthening connections via telecommunications and fiber optic cables and may soon connect more closely through AI.

In particular, focusing on developing products and services using native languages will help us bring better experiences to users in each country,” said Mr. Nguyen Manh Quy, CEO of Viettel AI.

Meanwhile, Mr. Thomas Pramotedham, CEO of Presight said: “We are very excited to start this strategic cooperation with Viettel AI. Combining our expertise and resources in the field of AI will bring significant advances to digital transformation initiatives.
