Viettel successfully tested 5G network for smart factory in Hai Phong

On July 20, the Military Industry - Telecommunications Group ( Viettel ) announced the successful testing of the private 5G mobile network service (5G Private Mobie Network - 5G PMN) for the Pegatron factory in Hai Phong.

In the first phase of cooperation with Pegatron, Viettel provides 5G private networks for 5 applications and is expected to provide 5G private networks for thousands of devices at the Hai Phong electronic equipment and components factory by the end of 2023.

Including augmented reality technology applications for video calls on Public Cloud; applications for production lines (Assembly Station); Product testing management; Monitoring and direct production processes...
