In the warm atmosphere of the ceremony, General Director of Viglacera Corporation - JSC Nguyen Anh Tuan said: 50 years ago, the Construction Ceramic Tile Company was established with the mission of producing basic material products to rebuild and build the country after reunification.Entering the period of national "renovation", promoting its pioneering role, Viglacera is determined to invest in modern technology, producing the first construction glass, sanitary ceramics, tiles, etc. in Vietnam, replacing imported goods.Viglacera has successively successfully conquered the following products: Autoclaved aerated concrete (2010); ALC panels (2018), Low-E energy-saving glass and Solar Control glass (2016), super white glass and sintered stone (2023).In the real estate sector, Viglacera started in 1998, and has only been around for 26 years, but has created very proud achievements. Viglacera owns 15 domestic and foreign industrial parks, with an area of over 4,000 hectares, attracting investment of up to 18 billion USD, of which foreign investors account for 70%. Viglacera is also an investor in 18 commercial and social housing areas; 1 5-star resort certified EDGE Advanced by the International Finance Corporation (IFC).In its development journey, through many changes in its operating model, in 2014, the Corporation successfully transformed from a state-owned enterprise to a public joint stock company, Viglacera still adheres to its strategic goals, accelerates investment and development, and brings high and sustainable economic efficiency to the Corporation.Up to now, 10 years after equitization, Viglacera Corporation - JSC has continuously made efforts, effectively implemented many solutions, and actively transformed production investment towards green development. Production and business results have also achieved remarkable results: Pre-tax profit of the parent company increased 10 times; Consolidated pre-tax profit increased approximately 3.5 times; Total consolidated assets increased approximately 2 times; Owner's equity according to the 2023 Consolidated Financial Statement increased more than 3 times. The total corresponding dividend amount of State capital since the Corporation officially converted into a Joint Stock Company (July 22, 2024) to date is 2,165 billion VND.
