Vinataba donates 10 billion VND to localities to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3

On September 13, Vietnam Tobacco Corporation held a launching ceremony to support localities to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3 throughout the Corporation.

Mr. Ho Le Nghia, Chairman of the Board of Members of Vietnam Tobacco Corporation, spoke at the launching ceremony.

The launching ceremony took place live and online at the Corporation's headquarters in Hanoi and the Representative Office in Ho Chi Minh City.

The Corporation's leadership responded to the call.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Ho Le Nghia, Chairman of the Board of Members of Vietnam Tobacco Corporation said: In recent days, storm No. 3 with strong winds has caused severe consequences for the northern provinces, causing great damage to people and property.

Staff and employees of the entire Corporation participated in support.

In the spirit of mutual love, on behalf of the Corporation's leadership, Mr. Ho Le Nghia called for the cooperation of all officers, employees and workers to share the difficulties with people in the provinces affected by storms and floods.

Thang Long Tobacco Company, a member of Vinataba, donated 2 billion VND at the Launching Ceremony.

According to Vinataba leaders, the total amount of money Vinataba has supported for localities is 10 billion VND. Previously, on September 11, Vinataba donated 500 million VND through the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. Immediately after the donation, the Corporation will send working groups to directly hand over to the localities.
