Honoring 11 authors who won Photography Awards in Quang Binh

(NADS) - On the evening of July 15, at the Quang Binh Provincial Cultural and Cinema Center, the People's Committee of Quang Binh Province held a ceremony to award the Literature and Arts Creation Awards to celebrate the 420th anniversary of the establishment of Quang Binh Province (1604-2024), the 75th anniversary of Quang Binh Uprising Day (1949-2024) and the 35th anniversary of the province's re-establishment Day (1989-2024).

Attending the ceremony were comrades: Tran Hai Chau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Tran Thang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Cao Van Dinh, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Tran Vu Khiem, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department; Nguyen Luong Binh, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Department; Phan Manh Hung, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department; Pham Thi Han, Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; members of the Provincial Party Committee: Le Vinh The, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Hoang Xuan Tan, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Prof. Dr., Hero of Labor Nguyen Anh Tri and representatives of leaders of departments, branches, sectors, unions and the award-winning authors, and a large number of people who came to watch and cheer.

After nearly 5 months of launching, the Organizing Committee of the creative campaign received 378 works from 122 authors, including 40 authors from 10 provinces and cities across the country. The Organizing Committee selected 55 outstanding works in 6 categories to award prizes. Photography had 70 works, the Organizing Committee selected to award 11 works from 11 authors:

The work “The Wheel of Time” by young author Tran Phan Hoang Anh has excellently won the A Prize in the Photography category of the Award. The work has a good composition, skillfully using exposure photography techniques to capture images of the night construction site of Nhat Le 3 Bridge in a creative and artistic way.

The two works that won the B prize were “City by the Nhat Le River” by photographer Le Duc Thanh and “Tan Hoa Tourist Village” by Van Thuc.

Three works won the C prize, including: Photo series "Historical evidence in Quang Binh homeland" by artist Nguyen Hai.

The Organizing Committee also awarded 5 consolation prizes: "Long Dai sacred convergence" (photo series) by Bui Cuong, "Phong Nha in the clouds" by Bach Chien, "Quyet Fierce" by Trung Hoa, "Traditional wrestling festival of Ba Don town" by Le Thanh Thu and "Quang Trach Thermal Power Plant" by artist Vo Thanh Vinh ( Nghe An ).

Award-winning works in 6 majors of Literature and Arts

The award ceremony was broadcast live on Quang Binh Radio and Television Station (QBTV) and livestreamed on the station's digital platforms.

Quang Binh Radio and Television Station in collaboration with the Literature and Arts Association has created a fairly detailed script for the award ceremony with rich content, including many outstanding performances that leave many emotions and impressions.
