At the close of trading today, VN-Index increased by 24.5 points to 1,509 points, equivalent to 1.65%. On the HoSE floor, there were 224 stocks increasing and 103 stocks decreasing. Total trading volume reached more than 1,289 million units, worth VND33,731.6 billion, down 12% in volume and 5% in value compared to yesterday's session.
Real estate stocks recovered strongly with the overall increase of the group being 3.2%. In particular, the big names that contributed the most and were the driving force for the VN-Index were VIC up 4.9% to 117,500 VND, VHM up 3.9% to 95,500 VND, VRE up 3.5% to 30,000 VND.
Other small and medium-sized stocks in this group also recorded positive developments such as GEX, SJS increased to the ceiling, SCR increased 4.4% to 8,400 VND, VGC increased 3.9% to 47,950 VND, VPI increased 3.5% to 52,900 VND, the pair DXG-DXS increased more than 3%...
Financial stocks followed, with some banking stocks standing out, with EIB hitting the ceiling at 6.9% to VND27,150 and newcomer VAB rising 7.4% to VND15,300, along with HDB rising 3.9% to VND25,450. Large stocks CTG, VPB, VCB, and BID also ended the session in green.
On the HNX floor today, there were 106 stocks increasing and 69 stocks decreasing, the HNX-Index increased by 2.06 points, up 0.84% to 247.85 points. The total matched volume reached nearly 150 million units, worth VND2,702 billion. There were 3.35 million additional units traded, worth VND60.4 billion.
Meanwhile, UpCoM-Index decreased by 0.25 points, or 0.24%, to 104.02 points. The total matched volume reached more than 77.2 million units, worth VND1,066.4 billion. Negotiated transactions had an additional 15.5 million units, worth VND305.2 billion.
The liquidity of the whole market today remained high, reaching over 37,000 billion VND, with the VN30 group alone recording 15,300 billion VND. The VN30 basket also unanimously increased by nearly 28 points, with only GVR and TCB slightly decreasing, while SHB and STB remained unchanged.

The market was covered in green with 224 stocks gaining points, of which 11 stocks hit the ceiling. The large-cap basket performed similarly with 26 stocks closing above the reference, of which Vietjet Air's VJC closed the session in purple with no sellers.
The surprise of the session was that foreign investors sold the most in over a month, with a total value of nearly 1,770 billion VND. Selling pressure focused on PDR, SSI, SHB and especially VJC - Vietjet Air shares were sold nearly 19.8 million units. However, VJC unexpectedly hit the ceiling, closing at 101,700 VND/share, returning to the 6-digit mark for the first time in many months.
