Onana's wife robbed of Rolex watch and rare Hermes bag

Melanie Kamayou - wife of goalkeeper Andre Onana, was robbed in broad daylight in the car park of an Italian restaurant in Alderley Edge, Cheshire.

According to the Daily Mail , Melanie had her £62,000 Hermes Birkin handbag and an expensive Rolex watch snatched from her on March 29. The alleged robber is Liam Ross from Wibsey, Bradford.

The 25-year-old appeared at Chester Magistrates’ Court on 4 April charged with robbery and cannabis trafficking. His next hearing will take place at Chester Crown Court in May.

The incident happened in Alderley Edge - a famous wealthy area in Cheshire. This was once the residence of many football stars such as Cristiano Ronaldo, David Beckham, Rio Ferdinand, Wayne Rooney. Currently, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk also live in this area.

Melanie is a pharmacist, entrepreneur and philanthropist. She married Onana 2 years ago and has a child together. After Onana joined MU in the summer of 2023, she and her family moved to England.
