Krong Buk commune focuses on reviewing poor and near-poor households

On October 11, the People's Committee of Krong Buk commune organized a training session on reviewing poor and near-poor households, identifying agricultural and forestry households with average living standards, and low-income workers by 2025.

The training was attended by nearly 150 delegates who were officials in charge of poverty reduction; secretaries, heads of villages and hamlets; representatives of organizations and investigators in the commune.

The training content focuses on the steps to review poor and near-poor households, including: making a list of households that need to be reviewed, poor and near-poor households, and households with a request for review; conducting reviews and classifying households; organizing meetings to collect opinions on the review results, ensuring objectivity, publicity, transparency, and participation of people and mass organizations.

Once completed, the list of poor and near-poor households will be publicly posted at the commune People's Committee headquarters and the community cultural houses of villages and hamlets for 3 working days for people to monitor and complain (if any). Next, the commune reports to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for approval to recognize poor and near-poor households. Finally, the review results will be summarized and reported according to regulations.

The work of reviewing poor and near-poor households in 2025 in Krong Buk commune will be carried out from October 10 to December 5, 2025, periodically once a year.

This is an important basis for implementing social security policies, supporting people to escape poverty sustainably. Through training, it is aimed at helping staff and investigators master the process and techniques, conduct reviews in accordance with regulations, ensuring accuracy, objectivity, and reflecting the real life situation of people, creating a basis for effectively implementing poverty reduction and social security policies in Krong Buk commune.
