Regarding the case of supplying spoiled meat and eggs to the kitchen of Cu Khe Primary School, on October 16, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Vu Thu Ha requested Binh Minh commune to coordinate with relevant units to inspect, clarify, strictly handle violations (if any) and report the results before October 18.
On the same day, a representative of the People's Committee of Binh Minh commune said that as soon as receiving the information, the unit requested functional departments and offices to work with Cu Khe Primary School to grasp the situation and report.

Eggs were found to have a foul smell by parents (Screenshot).
At the meeting, Nhat Anh Trading, Service and Export Company Limited - the unit providing meals for the school - admitted shortcomings in the food receiving and transporting process. The transport vehicle did not meet the standards of thermal insulation and the food was not vacuum-packed as required.
Director of Nhat Anh Company Phan Duc Long apologized and committed to terminate the contract with the food supplier Canh Nau Cooperative ( Bac Ninh province) and find a new source of supply to ensure food safety and hygiene.
Also at the meeting, the Department of Culture and Society of Binh Minh commune requested Nhat Anh Company to stop the contract with the old supplier and replace kitchen utensils to ensure hygiene and food safety. In addition, Cu Khe Primary School strengthened internal supervision and organized food safety training for staff and employees of the boarding kitchen.
Previously, according to a video recorded by parents of Cu Khe Primary School, many bags of peeled quail eggs brought to the school to prepare lunch for students had a foul smell. When the plastic bags were opened for a while, the meat smelled less. The fresh food was wrapped in plastic bags, not refrigerated, and transported by truck.
