Naval Region 2 hands over "Comrades' House" on the occasion of National Day September 2

On the morning of August 22, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, units of Naval Region 2, including Brigades 125 and 167, coordinated with local Party committees and authorities to inaugurate and hand over "Comrades' Houses" to families of soldiers in difficult circumstances.

At Dai Phuoc commune ( Dong Nai province), Brigade 167 handed over the house to the family of professional military major Pham Van Dong, Team leader of the vehicle team, Administration Department, General Staff Department, Brigade 167.

Previously, the 70m² house built in 2010 of Comrade Dong was degraded, often leaking in the rainy season. With the attention and support of the unit, the house was repaired, upgraded, the roof replaced, and a porch added, helping the family stabilize their living conditions.

In Hoang Hoa commune ( Thanh Hoa province), Brigade 125 coordinated with local authorities to hand over the house of a comrade to the family of Captain Nguyen Tien Thu, an employee of the Repair Station, Logistics - Technical Department. Comrade Thu's family lives in a dilapidated level 4 house and is in difficult circumstances, and he often works away from home.

The projects were supported with 60 million VND from the "For the Poor" Fund of the Ministry of National Defense with the cooperation of the unit and local authorities.

On this occasion, the Naval Region 2 Command, Brigades 125 and 167 and direct management agencies also presented many essential gifts, contributing to encouraging military families.

Supporting the construction of "Comrades' House" shows the concern of leaders at all levels, directly the Party Committee, the Commander of Region 2 Command and affiliated units in the Army's rear work, contributing to taking care of the lives of officers and soldiers, creating motivation for them to feel secure in their attachment and successfully complete the task of protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.
