Quoc Oai Commune visits and gives gifts to policy families and meritorious people

On the afternoon of July 21, Chairman of the People's Committee of Quoc Oai Commune Nguyen Trung Thanh visited and presented gifts to families of policy beneficiaries and meritorious people in the area on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025).

The delegation visited and presented gifts to Mr. Duong Danh Hoe, a war invalid in Khanh Tan village; Mrs. Nguyen Thi Mui, a war invalid in Sai Khe village; Mr. Nguyen Dinh Minh, a seriously wounded war invalid in Da Phuc village; and Mr. Phan Trong Binh, a person infected with toxic chemicals in Da Phuc village.

At the families he visited, comrade Nguyen Trung Thanh provided general information about the local situation to war invalids, sick soldiers, and people with meritorious services. Accordingly, implementing the direction of the central government and the city, Quoc Oai commune soon completed the organization and personnel of the two-level local government and immediately started official operation from July 1. Although it has only been more than 20 days of operation, the government apparatus has been operating smoothly, contributing to improving the quality of service to the people.

Expressing gratitude and deep appreciation for the great sacrifices and contributions of war invalids and martyrs' families in the struggle for national independence and protection of the Fatherland, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Quoc Oai commune kindly asked about their health and living conditions, shared difficulties with the families, and hoped that the families would continue to promote the revolutionary traditions of their homeland, strive to overcome difficulties and rise up in life, be exemplary in implementing the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, and always be a shining example for the younger generation to follow...

Receiving the affection, attention and encouragement of the commune leaders, the war invalids and families of policy beneficiaries expressed their emotion, excitement and trust in the policy of merging and streamlining the apparatus of the central and city governments, aiming to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the operations of the government apparatus at all levels. The establishment of Quoc Oai commune demonstrates the attention of the Party and State to each rural area.
