Tan Hung commune meets new rural standards

BPO - On the afternoon of June 4, the People's Committee of Hon Quan district held a ceremony to announce and receive the decision to recognize Tan Hung commune as meeting new rural standards in 2024.

Authorized by the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Khac Vinh, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Ms. Le Thi Anh Tuyet, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment presented flower baskets to congratulate Tan Hung commune on achieving new rural standards.  

As the last commune of Hon Quan district to complete the new rural development program, Tan Hung faced many difficulties due to its low starting point. However, with the solidarity and efforts of the entire political system and the joint efforts of the people, Tan Hung commune has achieved comprehensive results in many fields.

The Party Committee, government and people of Tan Hung commune received the certificate of recognition of the commune meeting new rural standards.

During the 2011-2024 period, Tan Hung commune mobilized a total of more than 105 billion 134 million VND to implement new rural construction. By the end of 2024, the whole commune had only 2 poor households and 11 near-poor households, accounting for 0.42% of the population. The commune no longer had households living in temporary or dilapidated houses. The average income of the commune reached 68.78 million VND/person/year.

Regarding infrastructure, 100% of roads in the commune are asphalted, concreted or hardened, ensuring convenient travel. 99.32% of households have access to standard electricity, the electrical system is invested synchronously and ensures safety.

Outstanding collectives and individuals in the movement to join hands in building new rural areas were commended by the Provincial People's Committee.

Hon Quan District People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to collectives with achievements in the new rural construction movement in Tan Hung commune.

Tan Hung commune currently has 4 schools, with fully invested facilities and equipment, meeting the requirements of teaching and learning. The rate of people participating in health insurance is 94%, 100% of hamlets in the commune have a cultural house or community cultural and sports activity center.

At the ceremony, authorized by the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Khac Vinh, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, awarded a certificate of recognition of the commune meeting new rural standards in 2024 to Tan Hung commune.
