Tan Hung commune has achieved the new rural standard.

BPO - On the afternoon of June 4th, the People's Committee of Hon Quan district held a ceremony to announce and receive the decision recognizing Tan Hung commune as having met the standards of a new rural area in 2024.

Authorized by the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Khac Vinh, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and Ms. Le Thi Anh Tuyet, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, presented a congratulatory flower basket to Tan Hung commune for achieving the new rural standard.  

As the last commune in Hon Quan district to complete the new rural development program, Tan Hung faced many difficulties due to its low starting point. However, with the unity and efforts of the entire political system and the collective efforts of the people, Tan Hung commune has achieved comprehensive results in many fields.

The Party Committee, government, and people of Tan Hung commune receive the certificate recognizing the commune as having met the standards of a new rural area.

During the period 2011-2024, Tan Hung commune mobilized a total of over 105 billion 134 million VND to implement the new rural development program. By the end of 2024, the commune had only 2 poor households and 11 near-poor households, accounting for 0.42% of the population. There were no longer any households living in temporary or dilapidated houses. The average income of the commune reached 68.78 million VND/person/year.

In terms of infrastructure, 100% of the roads in the commune are paved with asphalt, concrete, or other hard surfaces, ensuring convenient travel. 99.32% of households have access to standard electricity, and the electrical system is comprehensively invested in and ensures safety.

Outstanding collectives and individuals in the movement to jointly build new rural areas were commended by the Provincial People's Committee.

The People's Committee of Hon Quan District awarded certificates of commendation to collectives with outstanding achievements in the new rural development movement in Tan Hung commune.

Tan Hung commune currently has 4 schools, with fully invested facilities and equipment, meeting the requirements of teaching and learning well. The rate of people participating in health insurance reaches 94%, and 100% of hamlets in the commune have cultural centers or community cultural and sports activity points.
