To achieve this result, in recent times, Thach Yen commune has made efforts to build a model of "Friendly Government, serving the People". "As a commune in a mountainous and disadvantaged area of the district, in the past, the qualifications of the staff and civil servants were still limited compared to the staff of the communes in more favorable areas. With the spirit of constantly striving to improve the quality of service to the People, the commune's staff and civil servants have been conscious of self-study and self-training, thereby improving their working capacity, and applying information technology (IT) well to handle professional work" - Comrade Bui Duc Chung added.
In particular, many officials skillfully use IT tools and equipment to handle administrative procedures and transactions on electronic systems and software such as comrades: Bui Van Hiep - judicial officer - civil status, Bui Tuan Dung - office officer in charge of administrative reform, Bui Van Linh - officer in charge of culture - information, Quach Thi Minh - officer in charge of labor - invalids and social affairs, Bui Van Tinh - officer in charge of land - land... Thanks to that, the goal of "4 increases" has been gradually successfully implemented, including: increasing the application of IT in handling work; increasing publicity and transparency; increasing responsibility in performing public duties; increasing the satisfaction of organizations and citizens when performing administrative transactions. "2 decreases": reduce the time to handle administrative procedures and reduce the cost of performing administrative procedures. "3 nos": no trouble, harassment; Do not request additional documents more than once during the process of examination, appraisal, and work settlement, and do not delay in performing administrative transactions to serve the people.
In the spirit of "serving the people", many cases were quickly resolved by the commune's officials and civil servants, such as re-establishing disability records and re-issuing disability certificates. Many complicated administrative procedure records that previously took 3-5 days under the commune's authority have now been reduced to 1 day, with some cases returning results within the same day. Recently, the Commune People's Committee received and resolved a dispute over land encroachment between Mr. Dinh Van Chang's household in Tram hamlet and Mr. Dinh Van Du's family with an adjacent plot of land. After receiving the petition from the people, the Commune People's Committee established a working group to verify the field and the origin of land use of the households. With valid grounds, the Commune People's Committee's mediation team pointed out the legal issues related to the land dispute between the two households. From there, the households agreed to reconcile and thoroughly resolved the conflicts that arose.
Mr. Dinh Van Chang shared: I am very satisfied with the progress and results of the settlement of the petitions of the people by the Commune People's Committee. During the settlement process, we were able to access legal documents related to the origin of the land as well as the state management of land in a public and transparent manner. Therefore, our two families agreed and highly agreed with the mediation of the Commune People's Committee.
