On the evening of September 15, on several social media groups, a tourist's account (identity not disclosed) shared about his trip to Ha Giang (now in Tuyen Quang province).
In this article, tourists reflect that service prices in Lo Lo Chai village (Lung Cu commune) are too high, 3 times more expensive than normal.
The customer added that he bought 3 bags of smoked pork for his family in Dong Van, but the quality of the products was not good. With these experiences, the customer was not satisfied and said that if he returned to Ha Giang next time, he would not buy anything because there was a situation of cheating customers.

Immediately after the article was posted, the information immediately caused a storm, attracting a large amount of interaction with many mixed opinions.
In response to many public opinions, on September 16, the Lung Cu Commune Party Committee sent an urgent document to the Lung Cu Commune People's Committee regarding the establishment of a working group to inspect and verify tourists ' feedback to ensure timeliness, objectivity, accuracy, and compliance with regulations.
Specifically, the People's Committee of Lung Cu commune established an inspection team consisting of 7 members, headed by the head of the Department of Culture and Society. Accordingly, the working group is responsible for verifying information reflected by tourists related to the situation of high service prices and food safety at business establishments in Lo Lo Chai village.
On the afternoon of September 16, speaking with Dan Tri reporter, the inspection team representative said that they had verified 100% of business households in the village.
Preliminary inspection results showed that at the time of the inspection, Lo Lo Chai village had a total of 51 homestay businesses, 2 restaurants, 5 snack and souvenir shops. 100% of the businesses listed service prices according to regulations.
The inspection team assessed that the service room rental price at the time of verification was reasonable compared to the general level, ranging from 500,000 VND to 1.2 million VND/room.
This is a fully furnished private room. The 1.2 million VND room type has 2-way air conditioning, breakfast according to room level, drinks, cakes, foot bath service...

Dorm room service (a type of shared room similar to a dormitory) costs from 150,000 VND to 200,000 VND with a private bathroom. This is an acceptable price for tourists.
For food and beverage businesses, there must be a business license, a commitment to ensure food hygiene and safety between the business and local authorities, and fire prevention and fighting work must be ensured.
The inspection team observed food being stored in freezers by businesses. The prices of the products are listed for visitors to see.
Some products of unknown origin such as farmed chicken eggs and wild honey were promoted by the inspection team and encouraged people to only sell products of clear origin.
Thereby, people in Lo Lo Chai village commit to comply with legal regulations as well as propaganda of authorities.
"Preliminary inspection results show that the reflection of local service prices being 2-3 times higher is not true," said a representative of the inspection team.
Nestled next to Lung Cu flagpole at the foot of Dragon Mountain, Lo Lo Chai village belongs to Lung Cu commune, Ha Giang (old) now belongs to Tuyen Quang province, is known as "fairy tale village" because of its rustic and poetic beauty with stone fences typical of the rocky plateau.
As the land at the headland of the Fatherland, Lo Lo Chai has become a bright spot in community tourism development, bringing sustainable income, helping people change their lives.
Recognized as a Cultural Tourism Village since 2022, Lo Lo Chai now has more facilities to serve tourists while still maintaining its rustic landscape.
