View of the Advisory Council, acceptance assessment.
To achieve the goal of successfully building a model of organic commercial Seng cu rice production in Hai Duong province (Hai Phong city) with a scale of 400 hectares, an average yield of 5.0-5.5 tons/ha; completing the technical process of organic commercial Seng cu rice production suitable for the conditions of Hai Duong province (Hai Phong city). The project management board has implemented 5 main contents, including: Surveying and selecting implementation locations; building a model of organic commercial Seng cu rice production; completing the technical process of organic commercial Seng cu rice production suitable for the conditions of Hai Duong province (Hai Phong city); connecting the consumption of the model's products and disseminating the implementation results.
To implement the research, the Project Management Board conducted a survey and selected 5 models for commercial Seng cu rice production in districts and towns in the province such as: Co Bi (Binh Giang), Chi Minh (Tu Ky), Chi Minh (Chi Linh), Dong Lac (Chi Linh), Lac Long (Kinh Mon). The locations met the criteria for implementing the model with a total scale of 400 hectares. The results of the model implementation showed that the productivity obtained from the project's models all met and exceeded the set target. On average, it reached 6.2 - 6.8 tons/ha in the Spring crop and 5.3 - 5.6 tons/ha in the Summer crop, the economic efficiency exceeded the control Bac Thom 7 by 18.6 - 37.4% and the Seng cu model of inorganic farming by 15.2 - 24.7%. Producing 1 hectare of organic Seng cu rice yields a net profit ranging from 41.4 - 64.6 million VND/ha, higher than when cultivating Bac Thom 7 variety which only reached 33.4 - 47 million VND/ha and Seng cu variety which reached 34.2 - 53.9 million VND/ha under normal cultivation conditions. The output of commercial Seng cu rice produced from the models reached 2,368.75 tons, the implementing units coordinated with enterprises to purchase and consume 1,501.5 tons, reaching 63.4% of the total output. In addition, the results of soil and water sample analysis at the implementation locations did not detect heavy metals or toxic microorganisms exceeding the permissible level, which is the basis for developing rice cultivation models using organic fertilizers to gradually reduce and replace chemical fertilizers.
Regarding the completion of the technical process for organic production of commercial Seng cu rice suitable for the conditions of Hai Duong province ( Hai Phong city). The project management board has conducted research on the cultivation of commercial Seng cu rice with the following fertilizers: 200 kg of fused phosphate fertilizer + 1 ton of processed organic fertilizer + foliar organic fertilizer (4 times/crop). The suitable planting density for Seng cu rice is 26 - 28 clumps/m 2 for tray seedling method, 30 - 32 clumps/m 2 for yard seedling method and 40 - 45 clumps/m 2 for direct sowing. The suitable season for Seng cu rice is in the spring crop every year from February 10 to February 20 for direct sowing method; for yard seedling method on hard ground, machine-planted tray seedling from February 1 to February 10; The appropriate time for direct sowing of the Summer-Autumn crop is from June 20 to June 30, sowing seedlings on hard ground, and planting trays with machines from June 10 to June 20. The project also organized 10 technical training courses for 500 farming households and 03 field workshops with 150 delegates attending to introduce and promote the organic production model of commercial Seng cu rice in Hai Duong province (Hai Phong city).
With the above results, the Scientific Council unanimously accepted the results of the task implementation after the Project Management Board revised and supplemented the following contents: Supplementing the affirmation of novelty, adaptability, and suitability to ecological conditions for cultivating the Seng cu rice variety ; reviewing relevant data, especially assessments of rice yield; calculating economic efficiency and input costs; supplementing the ability to maintain and replicate the rice variety... Finally, reviewing terminology and sentences for clarity and originality to complete the report./.
