Building Phu Yen ward to develop dynamically, modernly and integratedly

On the afternoon of August 11, Phu Yen Ward Party Committee held the 1st Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

Attending the congress were comrades: Cao Thi Hoa An, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Dao Bao Minh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Tuy Hoa ward; former provincial leaders; leaders of specialized agencies advising and assisting the Provincial Party Committee; leaders of departments and branches and 198 delegates representing affiliated Party cells and Party committees.

Phu Yen Ward was established on the basis of merging Phu Dong, Phu Thanh, Phu Lam wards, Hoa Thanh commune, part of Hoa Hiep Bac ward and Hoa Binh 1 commune. The ward has a natural area of 44.04 ^km2 , a population of 61,799 people with 23 neighborhoods.

During the 2020 - 2025 term, Phu Yen Ward Party Committee achieved many important results in many fields. The economy developed stably; the economic structure shifted in the right direction, the proportion of industry - construction and services increased, the proportion of agriculture - forestry - fishery gradually decreased.

Per capita income by 2025 is 63.5 million VND. The work of building the Party, government, front and mass organizations is being carried out systematically, creating high consensus among the people.

With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Action - Development", at the congress, delegates voted to pass the Resolution of the 1st Congress of Phu Yen Ward Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030.

Provincial leaders presented flowers to congratulate the 1st Phu Yen Ward Party Congress.

Including the main targets: the average annual growth rate of total state budget revenue in the area is from 12% or more; the average income per capita in the area by 2030 is 100 million VND; 100% of cadres, civil servants and public employees are trained and master digital skills; strive for 100% of grassroots party organizations under the Party Committee to be classified as completing their tasks or higher every year...

Speaking at the congress, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Cao Thi Hoa An affirmed: Phu Yen is not simply a name but a source of pride, a continuation of the historical - cultural - spiritual values of an entire land.

This is a great source of spiritual motivation for each cadre, party member and resident of Phu Yen ward today to firmly step on the new path of development.

Comrade Cao Thi Hoa An said that Phu Yen ward has all the conditions for rapid development that a large urban area needs. The Party Executive Committee of the ward needs to promote its potential and advantages to develop the economy in a sustainable direction. The ward needs to promote the transformation of the growth model towards green and sustainable direction; promote digital transformation; and effectively exploit the marine economy.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Cao Thi Hoa An gave a speech directing the congress.

At the same time, focus on forming new urban areas, modern industrial and commercial clusters; actively attract FDI capital, making Phu Yen ward become a growth pole attracting FDI of the province. Pay more attention to social security, sustainable poverty reduction, people's health care, cultural and educational development.

Comrade Cao Thi Hoa An also requested the Phu Yen Ward Party Committee to continue to maintain solidarity; strengthen the work of building a clean and strong Party and political system in all aspects; develop the socio-economy in association with leadership and direction to effectively implement the "four pillar resolutions" of the Politburo; build Phu Yen Ward into a dynamic, modern, integrated development area, striving strongly in the new development period.

The Congress announced the decision of the Standing Committee of Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee on appointing the Phu Yen Ward Party Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 27 comrades, the Standing Committee consisting of 11 comrades. Comrade Tran Xuan Tuc was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Ward Party Committee.
