No longer inferior to imported goods as many years ago, the proportion of people using Vietnamese goods in the province is increasing. This not only shows the national pride of consumers in using domestic goods but is also the result of the drastic participation of the entire political system in implementing the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods".
After 15 years of implementation, the Campaign “Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods” is now entering a new phase when the Vietnamese economy is increasingly integrating more deeply into the world economy. To improve the effectiveness of the campaign, the Provincial Steering Committee has seriously implemented it in the province.
Propaganda forms are carried out in a rich and diverse manner through the province's media systems; banners, billboards, posters, and propaganda paintings are hung at public places, traffic routes, commercial centers, markets, industrial parks, and densely populated areas.

At the same time, it is integrated with propaganda to implement the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", raising awareness and responsibility in production, business and consumption of goods of enterprises, producers and consumers.
Trade promotion activities associated with the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize consuming Vietnamese goods" have been implemented synchronously and effectively by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, attracting the participation of a large number of people and businesses.
Every year, the Department of Industry and Trade supports businesses in the province to participate in domestic and international fairs to introduce, advertise, and promote the province's products to consumers; connecting the consumption of OCOP products of the province with provinces/cities across the country. Coordinate with the Ministry of Industry and Trade to invite businesses in the province to participate in fairs and exhibitions to introduce goods in many countries around the world.
In 2023, the Department of Industry and Trade has deployed 3 fixed sales points with the slogan "Proud of Vietnamese goods" in Dong Thinh commune (Song Lo); Lap Thach town (Lap Thach) and Gia Khanh town (Binh Xuyen). At the same time, it directed the organization of many fairs to introduce Vietnamese goods in the province such as: Spring Flower Fair; Vinh Phuc 2023 Consumer Stimulus Fair and 9 fairs to bring Vietnamese goods to mountainous areas, rural areas, urban areas, and industrial parks in the province.
This helps consumers access products produced by domestic enterprises, have enough information to compare, evaluate, avoid counterfeit, fake and smuggled goods and create conditions for Vietnamese goods to develop.

According to the assessment of the Provincial Steering Committee of the Campaign, after many years of implementation, the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" has gradually entered the lives of every citizen in the province when using domestically produced goods, quality, and prices suitable for consumers. Imported goods have been limited, people's purchase of Vietnamese goods has increased.
In early April, the Steering Committee of the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" issued a Plan to implement the Campaign in 2024 with the goal of arousing patriotism and national pride among Vietnamese consumers, contributing to promoting production and business, ensuring macroeconomic stability and social security; and building a culture of production, business and consumption in Vietnam.
The plan clearly identifies five key contents including: Propaganda work to implement the campaign; review policies to support businesses, production and business establishments; strengthen market inspection and control activities; enhance the responsibility of agencies and organizations in protecting consumer rights and organizing programs to honor, commend, reward, and commend typical businesses, and vote for quality products.
In particular, the Provincial Steering Committee of the Campaign identified the top priority task as propaganda work, ensuring regular and extensive implementation, combining innovation, creativity, and application of information technology into the campaign. Linking information and propaganda about the campaign with the promotion of Vietnamese products, goods, services, and brands on direct and online sales channels... to help people more conveniently access products, goods, and services.
Encourage domestic enterprises and production facilities to prioritize the use of raw materials, fuels, materials and input factors that are each other's products, goods and services.
Accordingly, in 2024, continue to innovate propaganda forms so that businesses can correctly understand and enhance their responsibility in implementing regional and international trade agreements that Vietnam participates in, and improve the competitiveness of Vietnamese goods and products with imported goods.
