Building Long Kien commune to develop comprehensively and sustainably

On August 26 and 27, the Long Kien Commune Party Committee (An Giang Province) held its first Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term. Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Internal Affairs Committee of An Giang Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Sach attended and directed the congress.

Speaking at the congress, Standing Committee member and Head of the Internal Affairs Committee of An Giang Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Sach suggested that in the new term, the Long Kien Commune Party Committee continue to promote building and rectifying the Party and a clean and strong political system.

The congress agreed on the theme of "Strengthening the building of a clean and strong Party and political system; a friendly government serving the people; promoting administrative reform and digital transformation; promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc; maintaining national defense and security; determined to build Long Kien commune to develop comprehensively and sustainably".

The Congress set out 14 main targets and 3 breakthroughs: Focusing on investment in agricultural restructuring applying high technology and circular economy in agriculture; building synchronous economic and social infrastructure, especially rural transport infrastructure to serve production and business; promoting administrative procedure reform and digital transformation, developing human resources to best serve the interests of people and businesses.

The Congress announced the decision of the Standing Committee of An Giang Provincial Party Committee to appoint the Executive Committee of Long Kien Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term , consisting of 29 comrades ; the Standing Committee of the Commune Party Committee has 11 comrades. Comrade Phan Thi Diem was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Long Kien Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
