Today (January 12), the Traffic Safety Committee of Quang Ninh province said that the traffic accident occurred at 4:30 p.m. this afternoon at Km161, National Highway 18, through Cua Ong ward, Cam Pha city.

Accordingly, the pickup truck with license plate 14C-20.726 was driven by Mr. Ha Quang Vuong (born in 1962, residing in group 1, area 3B, Quang Hanh ward, Cam Pha city) in the direction of Mong Duong - Cua Ong. When arriving at the above location, this car crashed into 2 motorbikes with license plates 11L1-14.633 and 14U1-14.642 (the number of people on the vehicles has not been determined). As a result, 3 people died on the spot.

The car then continued onto the sidewalk and crashed into a parked pickup truck.

Immediately after receiving the information, Vice Chairman of Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee Vu Van Dien went to the scene to direct the handling, overcoming the consequences, and supporting the victims.

At the same time, Quang Ninh Provincial Police conducted an investigation to clarify and strictly handle the case according to the law.

The driver who caused the accident was taken to Cua Ong Ward Police Station to have his alcohol level measured with two testing machines and no signs of this were found.
