Truck overturned on the road, Hai Van tunnel temporarily closed

Authorities have temporarily banned traffic through the Hai Van Tunnel after a truck overturned, blocking the road in the northern area of ​​the Hai Van Tunnel, in Lang Co town (Phu Loc district, Thua Thien Hue province).

Recorded on the morning of October 27, on National Highway 1, passing through the area north of Hai Van tunnel in Lang Co town, Phu Loc district, Thua Thien Hue province, a truck overturned on the road, causing traffic paralysis.

The truck overturned in the northern entrance area of ​​Hai Van tunnel.

Truck with license plate 29H - 720.30 overturned, causing traffic jam and a long line of cars waiting to be cleared. At the same time, many vehicles stopped along the route to avoid storm Trami, so traffic through here was almost paralyzed.

Hai Van Pass also had landslides, fallen trees, and authorities banned vehicles from traveling on the pass.

To avoid traffic congestion in Hai Van Tunnel, Hai Van Tunnel Management Company temporarily stops allowing vehicles into the tunnel, waiting for the North side to clear.

To ensure safety for people and vehicles, Da Nang City Traffic Police coordinated with Phu Loc District Police and Hai Van Tunnel Management Company to not allow vehicles to pass through Hai Van Pass and Hai Van Tunnel.
