Truck and car crushed after collision on highway connecting road

Initial information, at around 5:30 p.m. on May 18, truck with license plate 38C-175.xx (driver's identity unknown) was traveling on National Highway 8C from Cam Due commune to Cam Xuyen town when it collided with a car with license plate 38A_687.xx (driver's identity unknown) traveling on the connecting road from the North-South expressway to National Highway 1A. The car was carrying 4 children.

After the collision, the truck and the car plunged down the embankment of the road. Both vehicles were deformed and severely damaged. The accident injured the occupants of both vehicles.

Local people promptly rescued and took the victim to Ha Tinh General Hospital for emergency treatment.

Upon receiving the news, the Traffic Police of Ha Tinh Province were present to investigate the cause of the accident.

Previously , another traffic accident also occurred on the highway through Ha Tinh.

At around 2:45 p.m. on May 18, at Km506+600 of Bai Vot - Ham Nghi expressway in Ngoc Son village, Thach Ngoc commune, Thach Ha district, truck with license plate 99F - 006.xx suddenly lost control, crashed into 50m of the expressway guardrail and overturned on the negative slope.

Fortunately, the accident did not cause any casualties, but the vehicle was severely damaged, with many bags of goods spilling out. It was raining heavily at the time of the accident.

Upon receiving the report, the authorities arrived at the scene to coordinate the investigation and clarify the cause of the incident.
