The ASEAN Cup 2024 (AFF Cup) will continue with the first leg final between the Vietnamese team and the Thai team.
The match between these two rival teams will take place at 8:00 p.m. today (January 2, 2025) at Viet Tri Stadium ( Phu Tho ).
This much-awaited clash will be broadcast live on VTV2 and VTV Can Tho channels of Vietnam Television.
This is the 5th time the "Golden Star Warriors" have participated in the AFF Cup final, while the team from the Land of the Golden Temple is participating for the 11th time in history.
The Vietnamese team has only reached the pinnacle of glory twice, less than rival Thailand (7 times).
However, the 2024 AFF Cup will be the third time Vietnam and Thailand face each other in the final. The previous two times, Vietnam won in 2008, and Thailand won in 2022.
