The land of My Tho - Tien Giang (now Dong Thap province) has long been in poetry with the image of women who are both gentle, graceful but also full of heroic spirit through the heroic folk song: "My Tho girls have silkworm eyebrows and phoenix eyes/When the enemy comes to the house, they do not wave their swords clumsily". Promoting that resilient spirit and noble qualities, Ms. Le Thi Nhu Thao, an expert at the State Bank of Region 13, has become a typical example in the emulation movement "Good at banking, good at housework", not only striving to excellently complete professional tasks but also skillfully cultivating a happy family.

Flexible and responsible in every task

Having worked with the State Bank of Region 13 since 2011, while the local banking sector had to balance between strictly implementing monetary policy to control inflation and providing timely capital support for production and business activities, especially key economic sectors of the locality such as agriculture and export... Ms. Le Thi Nhu Thao has demonstrated flexibility and a high sense of responsibility in many times taking on core business areas such as deposit and loan accounting; payment accounting, treasury accounting according to internal ISO procedures, then moving on to performing accounting for expenditures, assets, basic construction and salary accounting at the branch.

With each assigned task, she always strives to complete it excellently, ensuring that transactions with customers and payments are carried out promptly and in accordance with regulations. In particular, when taking over the task of accounting for expenditures, she has enhanced her advisory role, helping her superiors to perform well and correctly the revenue and expenditure operations according to the State Bank's Internal Expenditure Regulations, ensuring the harmony of legitimate rights of civil servants and employees, while strictly complying with the regulations of the industry and the State in the practice of thrift, anti-waste and asset management.

In addition to accounting work, Ms. Thao is also assigned the important task of synthesizing, reporting and advising on tasks related to cashless payment activities in the old Tien Giang province. She coordinated and advised on the successful development of the Plan to implement the Cashless Payment Project for the period 2021 - 2025; strongly promoted cashless payments for social security payments and public services through banks; advised and coordinated the successful implementation of the "Cashless Route" model in My Tho and is being replicated; and successfully organized the event "Digital transformation of the Banking sector in Tien Giang province in 2024", contributing to making a mark in the local digital transformation.

Along with that, she is also in charge of the union financial accounting, ensuring that the preparation of budget reports, financial revenue and expenditure settlement, financial disclosure and union asset management are carried out promptly, fully and in accordance with regulations. This strict financial management has contributed to improving the effectiveness of union activities at the branch, taking better care of the material and spiritual life of union members.

Notably, in the past 5 years, in the spirit of creativity and continuous improvement, Ms. Thao has had 3 initiatives recognized by the Branch Initiative Council and promoted positive effects, shortening time and effort in the work process, improving work efficiency. The effort to apply information technology in professional work also helps her collect and process data quickly and conveniently, affirming professionalism and science in all activities.

Promote the spirit of learning and creativity

During her work, she always showed a spirit of learning and proactively researching and learning to find new and effective working methods to reduce labor and improve the accuracy and science of the process. She constantly promoted the spirit of learning from previous generations, while constantly improving and improving her professional qualifications to best serve her work. That effort has helped her reap outstanding achievements.

In addition, Ms. Thao also demonstrated her role as an exemplary Party member, receiving a Certificate of Merit from the former State Bank of Tien Giang Province Party Cell for "Outstanding Individual in Studying and Following Ho Chi Minh's Thought, Morality and Style" in 2020 and was continuously ranked as an Excellent Party Member in 2021 and 2022. Not only good at her profession, the gentle woman of My Tho land is also an active nucleus in the mass movements at the agency. She continuously achieved the title of Excellent Union Member and the title of Woman "Good at Banking, Good at Housework" from 2020 - 2024. Her contributions have helped the union activities at the branch achieve good results, taking good care of the material and spiritual life of union members. She also actively participates in cultural and sports movements, winning many high awards such as the Third Prize in the "Creating a Video of Exercise During Breaks" contest launched by the Vietnam Banking Trade Union.

Ms. Le Thi Nhu Thao's efforts and dedication have been recognized by a series of outstanding achievements, affirming a talented and dedicated specialist. From 2020 to 2024, she continuously achieved the title of Advanced Worker, classified as having completed her tasks well; for 3 consecutive years (2020, 2021, 2022), she was classified as having completed her tasks excellently, achieving the title of Emulation Fighter at the grassroots level. On that basis, she was honored to receive 02 Certificates of Merit from the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam for her outstanding achievements in contributing to the completion of the Bank's tasks in the period 2019 - 2020 and 2021 - 2022. Along with that, she was awarded 6 Certificates of Merit by the Director of the State Bank of Tien Giang province for her outstanding achievements. In 2020, she was commended at the Branch's Conference of Typical Advanced Employees for the period 2015 - 2020.

Despite her busy work at the agency and organization, Ms. Thao is always aware of the need to balance her responsibilities between work and family. She maintains her ideological stance, constantly improves her own abilities, but also always spends time taking care of her family and raising her children. This is also the guiding principle for Ms. Thao to build an equal and harmonious family environment, with members respecting, loving, bonding and helping each other. With the care and attention of her family, her two children have been awarded the title of Excellent Student for many years and achieved high achievements in learning, cultural and artistic movements.
