Pioneer in digital transformation

(QBĐT) - Promoting the pioneering role of youth in digital transformation, in recent times, the Youth Union chapters at all levels in the province have implemented many practical projects and tasks, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere among union members and youth. The results achieved have contributed positively to the province's digital transformation tasks.

According to Provincial Youth Union Secretary Dang Dai Bang, realizing the importance of digital transformation, Youth Union organizations have taken advantage of digital platforms such as social networks and online forums to convey information about the Youth Law 2020, Resolution No. 07-NQ/TU on digital transformation of the Provincial Party Committee and policies to support youth in the digital economy .

At the same time, promote propaganda about digital transformation associated with movements and action programs, helping young union members raise awareness about digital transformation; foster knowledge and skills in using digital capacity applications in work, study, etc. Up to now, 100% of Youth Union organizations use social networks as a propaganda tool, creating changes in gathering young people and building the Youth Union organization.

The Youth Union at all levels has built many models of works, solutions, and tasks of the Youth Union, such as the following teams: Propagating about VNeID electronic identification; propagating, mobilizing, guiding, and supporting the implementation of online public services at public places; guiding and supporting the implementation of online public services at agencies, units, and people's homes; supporting young people in starting businesses, innovation, and digital transformation...

Digital capacity building training sessions for union members and youth are held regularly.

Secretary of the Youth Union of the Department of Justice Dang Le Thuy Trang shared: “In order to improve the quality of service to the people, the Youth Union of the Justice sector constantly promotes the building and practice of office culture, especially in the work of receiving people and supporting people in using public services. The focus is on promoting the application of information technology, supporting people in online public services, electronic payments, electronic identification, contributing to improving the efficiency of the sector's operations. In addition, each Youth Union member always practices a professional working style, civilized and polite behavior, demonstrating a sense of responsibility and dedication to work”.

The digitization of red addresses of historical sites and relics, and the construction of digital maps in the province managed by the Youth Union at all levels have also been effectively implemented. There are currently 14 projects digitizing red addresses through QR code scanning applications.

The Truong Son Martyrs Memorial Temple - Long Dai Ferry Terminal in Hien Ninh Commune (Quang Ninh) is one of the typical historical digital youth projects of Quang Binh youth, helping tourists easily look up information when visiting here. Secretary of Quang Ninh District Youth Union Ngo Le Duy said: The project is designed in the form of infographics with a lot of information related to this place and QR coding for tourists to easily operate on smartphones. The project has practical significance, enriching destinations, building a diverse and attractive tourism ecosystem, keeping up with the trend of smart tourism.

Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Dang Dai Bang: “In the coming time, the Provincial Youth Union will continue to promote digital transformation in Youth Union activities through managing union members on the “Vietnamese Youth” app or digital skills training programs, investing in technology infrastructure and encouraging young people to participate in digital economic models... To seize this opportunity, young union members need to constantly learn, practice skills and improve their capacity to adapt to global trends; especially promoting the pioneering role in digital transformation in all fields, contributing to building an increasingly civilized, modern and integrated locality”.

In recent times, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee has directed all levels of the Youth Union to focus on propaganda work and guide young union members to build economic models applying high technology. Many programs to support startups and digital skills training have been implemented, while coordinating to organize training courses on business administration, product consumption on e-commerce platforms, and promoting and distributing agricultural products through digital platforms. Thanks to that, youth startup models are increasingly improving their competitiveness.

A typical example is Mr. Le Duy Trinh, a member of Duy Ninh commune ( Quang Ninh ), who has risen to become rich with a lotus growing model and producing lotus products. In the past three years, Mr. Trinh has actively used social networks to livestream sales and post advertisements, helping his revenue to continuously grow.

“Thanks to the application of digital technology, especially social networking platforms and e-commerce platforms, I can reach customers more easily and expand the market without being limited by geographical distance. Initially, promoting and selling online encountered many difficulties, but when I grasped how to operate, I realized that this was an effective channel to significantly increase sales. Currently, in addition to direct sales, I also take advantage of livestreaming and digital advertising strategies to reach more customers, thereby improving production and business efficiency,” said Mr. Le Duy Trinh.
