Youth Fest 2025: Spreading the aspirations and pride of Vietnamese youth

Through the period of building, striving and maturing under the leadership of the Party, the core political role of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Union have increasingly affirmed their worthiness as a broad social organization of youth and patriotic Vietnamese youth organizations, continuing to strive for the goal of "Rich people, strong country, democracy, fairness and civilization".

Speaking at the program, Secretary of the Central Youth Union, President of the Vietnam Youth Union Nguyen Tuong Lam affirmed that after 69 years of establishment and development, the Vietnam Youth Union has developed strongly with nearly 9 million members and 34 provincial and municipal youth unions, 4 large corporations and 6 Vietnamese Youth and Student Union organizations abroad. These are not just numbers, but proof of the trust, attachment and dedication of millions of Vietnamese youth hearts, who are writing every day the journey of patriotism, creativity and building the Fatherland. Looking back at the Union's staff today, we are even more proud to see a generation of brave, idealistic and loyal cadres continuing the previous generations to carry out the tasks and missions of the Union.

The Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union awarded the "October 15" prize to 69 outstanding Youth Union officials from provinces and cities who have made outstanding achievements and contributions to the work of the Union and the youth movement. The "October 15" prize includes: Certificate of Merit, Certificate, and Logo of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union.

Among the 69 Association officials honored this year, many outstanding faces are dynamic and creative youth leaders with many initiatives in Association work and youth movements at the grassroots level. They are people who are committed to volunteer activities for the community, initiating models to support youth start-ups, building new rural areas, digital transformation, environmental protection, etc. Each honored face is not only the pride of the Association, but also a vivid demonstration of the spirit of "I love my Fatherland", the aspiration to contribute and the beautiful living ideals of Vietnamese youth in the new era.

Within the framework of the program, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union organized the activity "Each youth has a book as a friend", aiming to spread the reading culture and encourage the spirit of self-study among young people; award scholarships to students with difficult circumstances to excel in their studies, and organize a forum to exchange with speakers and young experts to share experiences, inspire young people to start a business and develop themselves.

On the same day, in Hanoi , many exciting cultural and artistic activities took place such as the Band Festival, Singing Group and Cheerleading with the theme "Aspiration to Rise", creating a youthful and dynamic atmosphere, contributing to spreading the enthusiasm and creativity of Vietnamese youth.
