About 1,000 students from the People's Police University covered the A stand of Ton Duc Thang University Stadium in green with their neat police uniforms. This was also the first match in the 2024 THACO Cup qualifying round that students from a university came to cheer for their school's team in such large numbers and with such enthusiasm.

Carrying drums, flags, and cheering equipment, the cheering team of about 1,000 people from the People's Police University (school code T05) continuously shouted the slogans "T05", "People's Police University determined to fight and win", "People's Police forget themselves for the country, serve the people". In the scorching hot weather, the cheering team still continuously cheered on their players - who were drenched in sweat on the field.

Lieutenant Colonel Phan Van Duoc, Head of the People's Police University's team, said that among the approximately 1,000 students who took to the field today to support the school's football team, approximately 500 students had three practice sessions on how to cheer properly every evening at the People's Police University campus, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.

"According to the tournament's slogan "Play Fairly - Win Fairly - Cheer Fairly", the People's Police University always tries to bring the best performances to the tournament, both in competition and cheering," said Lieutenant Colonel Phan Van Duoc.

The head of the People's Police University team also added: "We are determined to come to the Vietnam Youth Student Football Tournament with a spirit of determination, learning, and competing to gain more experience. The school's team does not have much experience in the 11-player field, so the score of 1-4 against Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry is not too surprising. However, it is quite regrettable that there were some situations where the team did not score. We will be determined in the remaining match against Van Hien University."
