The first par 4 is a relatively easy play south. The tee shot goes between two mountains to a wide raised landing area with two fairway bunkers on the left. The green slopes from right to left at the base of the sloping mountain. The approach to the green is open and a bunker on the left protects the flagstick behind. The main teeing areas on the par-4 2nd hole are raised more than 10m above the fairway. Golfers have two fairway options to aim for. First, most will choose the safer left side and play long, hugging the middle fairway bunker cluster. Second, long hitters will be able to hit the green if they aim for the right fairway, which is obscured by the mountain and requires a risky shot to reach. The angle of approach from the left fairway over the middle bunker is difficult because the green is sloping along one side. Players who reach the right fairway but cannot reach the green will have an easy pitch onto the green. The large middle bunkers will be inviting for errant shots. The approach to the third tee box from the second green is through a narrow gap between two hills. The tee boxes are raised to allow the ball to hit onto a wide fairway. The right green is raised, giving long hitters a better view and angle to the second green and green. The green and approach area are at the base of the hill on a rise 10m above the first green. The hole has two greens, and depending on which green is used on a given day, the best approach angle is determined. A very difficult par 3, the elevated tee box plays into a green at the base of a 50m mountain peak. The lake is not designed as part of the hole strategy but will challenge mishits to the right. The high bunker complex to the left of the green is set into a mound designed to encourage approach shots and roll back into the green. The long green slopes from front to back, allowing short shots to roll back. This is a long par 4. Although the lake to the right of the green is not part of the strategy, it is part of the play, but the fairway is wide open and accessible. The mountains to the left, and the lake to the right will make this a memorable hole. The green is in a natural valley at the base of the mountain, raised 3-4 m above the green with a significant change in elevation between the back and front. The front of the green will challenge the player to not get the ball on the flat side of the green by having the short hit ball roll back towards the front of the green. Designed as one of the more distinctive holes, the 6th is a medium length par 3 that plays to a green perched on a 15m high rock mound at the foot of a high cliff. The green is relatively simple and easy to play, sloping from back to front. A group of bunkers and low areas on the left side of the green are bordered by natural rock walls that will save overhand left shots, but any shot too far left will end up in the lake below. The shortest par 4 on the course is played from an elevated tee box at the base of a narrow canyon. The wide fairway on the right gives short hitters ample room to avoid the water. However, the further right the second shot gets more difficult as the approach to the green slopes downhill. Stronger players may be tempted to approach the green with a long shot over the water. The green is in a natural valley and is protected by a deep bunker in front. The elevated tee box allows players to hit the ball onto a wide fairway at the foot of a 120m high mountain. A long bunker runs along the fairway to the left of the lake. Bold players will hit over the lake and the bunker will be rewarded with a shorter approach shot to the green. The wide green is raised 5m above the landing area and is protected by a front bunker. The green is open and takes shots up the right. The longest hole on the course is played from a tee box 15m high on a fairway that runs along the side of a 90m mountain. The dogleg tee shot must land in a wide, partially obscured right green with a visible directional bunker to the left of the fairway. Water runs along the left side of the second green and the green is at the base of a 35m mountain peak. The longest par 4 on the course has a water hazard on the left side that runs from the tee box to the green. The wide fairway allows for safe play, but requires a long drive to reach the green in two shots. The green is separated from the water hazard by a shallow bunker. Players can hit long shots to the short mound on the right side of the green to bounce the ball back. This hole requires a water shot for all players to a wide green. The green is wide open with water on the left and is surrounded by three bunkers. Players who do not reach the green will face difficult chip shots that go over the bunker onto the green that slopes down towards the water. The elevated tee boxes allow for short but wide landings. Long hitters hoping to reach the green in two shots can find a speed bump that will give the ball more roll. For the second shot, players have the option of playing short in front of the creek and getting a simple pitch shot over the water to the green, or playing along the left side of the creek to reach a small fairway to the green. The green is designed horizontally on the edge of the creek with mounds and bunkers surrounding it. A difficult par 4 with water on the right and rocky terrain on the left. The hole plays uphill to a green in a valley between two hills. The green is large and simple with a high angle on the right side that rolls approach shots over into a wide area of short grass. A short par 4 with strategically placed water and fairway bunkers on the right. Strong players can try to hit the ball over the bunkers to reach the green with their tee shot. Safer tee shots to the left will give players an angled approach to the green over the left bunker and the right lake. Another difficult par 3 with a lake on the right running along the course towards the twin peaks. A series of wide tee positions will allow for plenty of distance on this hole. A safe shot to the left can, if lucky, be returned by a mound of earth to the front of the green. A low area on the left of the green will be where the long shots come from. The green is wide open for long shots, but the back right flagstick is difficult to reach as it is protected by a small pot bunker and a shelf bunker that extends along the edge of the lake. A challenging short/medium length par 4 with water on the left along the entire length of the hole, requiring a water shot to get the ball onto the green. A short but challenging par 5 with water to the left of the green and a mountain to the right. A creek crossing the fairway between the first and second landing areas gives players a variety of options on how to play this hole. Long hitters who hit near the lake with their tee shots may be tempted to hit the green in two. Getting to the green requires precision and courage, as the green is hidden in a valley and protected by bunkers. Players who choose to play short before the creek will have a good view of the green but face a challenging second shot over a small bunker. A difficult hole with a 55m mountain left of the tee and a winding creek running from the tee to the green. The wide, undulating fairway from left to right rewards accurate drives with a good amount of bounce if hit long enough. The green sits atop a rock wall and is guarded by a front bunker and a lake on the right.
