Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet said 20 soldiers were killed in an ammunition explosion at a military base in western Cambodia.

According to AFP, in a statement on Facebook, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet said the explosion occurred on the afternoon of April 27 (local time) at a military base in Kampong Speu province, western Cambodia. The explosion killed 20 Cambodian soldiers and injured several others. Photo: DAP News.

Prime Minister Hun Manet did not share many details about the incident. The Cambodian leader said he was "deeply shocked" when he received news of the explosion at the base in Kampong Speu province.
