Hoai An Youth Agricultural Cooperative will coordinate with consumer units, including business households Truong Thi Niem and Nguyen Van Thuan, to form a livestock farming chain to consume products.
The project has 26 households participating, including 9 poor households, 2 near-poor households and 15 households that have just escaped poverty. The scale of raising livestock includes 52 fattened cows according to the model of each household raising 2 cows. The implementation period is 8 months from the date of approval (November 24); Kim Son Commune People's Committee is the implementing agency, the Department of Agriculture and Environment is the managing unit.

Households are supported with livestock breeds, feed, veterinary medicine, technical training... to increase income, striving to reach over 100 million VND/household after selling cows. The project aims to have at least 43% of participating households escape poverty, contributing to completing the local poverty reduction target in 2025.
The total cost of the project is 2,542 billion VND, including 1,215 billion VND of state budget support, 32.76 million VND of cooperative counterpart and 1,294 billion VND of farmers' counterpart. The project is expected to create a foundation for replicating the fattening beef cattle model throughout Kim Son commune and other areas in the province in the coming time.
