260 campers attend Phu Yen Youth Leader Camp

Attending the opening ceremony were leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Party building committees, leaders of departments, branches, units, standing committees of districts, towns, city unions and affiliated unions, along with a large number of union members and young people.

At the opening ceremony, Phu Yen Firefly Charity Association presented 20 gifts, each worth 300,000 VND, to students in difficult circumstances.

The Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee launched the Phu Yen Province Drowning Prevention Communication Team with 30 volunteers, participating in communication activities on drowning prevention for children; organizing free swimming lessons for children in localities, thereby contributing to reducing the current situation of children dying from injuries and drowning accidents.

On this occasion, the organizing committee awarded prizes for the Online Contest to learn about the 65-year history of the twinning of Hai Duong and Phu Yen provinces (January 9, 1960 - January 9, 2025). The first prize went to Mr. Cao Anh Bac, Son Dinh commune union, Son Hoa district. In addition, the organizing committee also awarded 5 consolation prizes to individuals.

The Phu Yen Youth Leaders Camp was attended by 260 campers from 14 districts, towns, city unions and affiliated unions; Phu Yen Firefly Charity Association and Buddhist Youth, stationed at 9 sub-camps. During the 3 days, the campers competed in tents, tent newsletters, my hometown cuisine , flashmob dancing, community games, sports, English contests on the theme Cultural Colors, revolutionary song propaganda festival for high school students, training on inspection and supervision work, application of artificial intelligence (AI), communication skills, presentations for union and association officials, skills in working with children, improving capacity to prevent violence and child abuse, etc.
