300 students of Kien Xuong district participate in reading culture exchange

On the afternoon of April 19, in Kien Xuong district, the Center for Culture and Sports coordinated with the district Departmentof Education and Training to organize a reading culture exchange program to celebrate Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day, April 21.

With the theme of "Sharing methods to create reading habits with children", 300 students from Thanh Ne Primary School (Kien Xuong) were inspired by Dr. Nguyen Thuy Anh, a doctor of education, and shared valuable knowledge to develop reading habits and effectively receive information from books.

The program aims to honor the value of books, affirm the position, role and importance of books in social life.

Students read books at the book display space in the reading culture exchange program.

As part of a series of activities in response to Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day on April 21, the Culture and Sports Center, Department of Education and Training of Kien Xuong district also coordinated with the Provincial Library to bring multimedia library cars to serve at schools, encouraging the reading movement and developing reading culture among students.
