“Only with roots and origins can we blossom and blossom. When we go everywhere, we are proud of the heroic Vietnamese people. Having gone through many difficulties and challenges in the post-war period, over the past 50 years, our country has made many changes, striving to integrate and develop. The most meaningful message I want to convey on this special anniversary is the promise to contribute my best for the bright future of the country. We hold pens instead of guns, our front is not smoke, fire, bombs and bullets but challenges in technology and engineering. We are trying hard to study to carry out Uncle Ho's teachings, which is to bring Vietnam to stand shoulder to shoulder with the world's powers”, Vu Ngoc Van, a student at Chu Van An High School for the Gifted (Hanoi)

“Today’s peaceful life has been exchanged for countless sacrifices of blood and bones by previous generations. The feeling of gratitude is even clearer when I and my friends participate in cleaning the martyrs’ cemetery, when I see the damaged body of a lonely wounded soldier in a small village or a martyr’s mother anxiously searching for her child’s remains… On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the reunification of the country, I would like to send my deep thanks to the previous generation, to those who have passed away, those who sacrificed their youth, forever keeping a belief, a love for the Fatherland, fighting steadfastly to bring peace to the country”, Dang Thi Hong Diep, a student at My Hung Secondary School (Nam Dinh)

“I would like to express my gratitude to the heroes, martyrs, and wounded soldiers who did not spare their blood and bones in the great resistance war of the nation. I am always grateful for the resilience, courage, and patriotism of previous generations that brought a peaceful life to today's generation. I believe that gratitude will always be engraved in every young person, so that from there they can live more kindly, more responsibly, and always cherish the value of peace. Today's young generation needs to be clearly aware of their responsibility in preserving and promoting the achievements left by their ancestors. I think the most practical thing is to try to study, practice ethics and life skills to become a useful person for society and the community", Tran Ha Son, a student at Dao Duy Tu High School (Hanoi)

“For me, the April 30 victory is not only a historical milestone but also a symbol of the desire for independence, the spirit of national unity and the power of patriotism. It is a reminder that today's independence and freedom are the result of countless sacrifices of blood and bones of previous generations, and that future generations need to be responsible for preserving and promoting them. Especially in the era of national development, when Vietnam is gradually asserting its position on the world map, the April 30 victory is a source of inspiration for today's generation to look to the future with confidence and responsibility. It is an era in which patriotism is expressed through learning, innovation, mastering technology and spreading the good cultural values of Vietnam to the world. On this occasion, I would like to express my deep gratitude to the generations of fathers and grandfathers who have fallen, sacrificed their youth and blood for the aspiration of independence and freedom of the Fatherland. Thanks to that resilience, courage and unconditional patriotism, that we - the young people of today - can live in peace, study, and pursue our passions. Being aware of that, I appreciate history even more, long to contribute my strength to the country, and strive to become a citizen with courage, knowledge, who dares to think and dares to do", Nguyen Thi Lan Anh, student of the Academy of Journalism and Communication.
