The race is organized by the Vietnam ICT Press Club in collaboration with Race Jungle Company.

Speaking at the race, journalist Le Bao Trung, Head of Science and Technology Department, Dan Tri Newspaper - Head of the Organizing Committee of Press Marathon 2023, said that in the second year of organization, the race attracted 500 athletes, mostly reporters and journalists from more than 40 press and media agencies in Hanoi and neighboring localities. This is a big sports festival for reporters, journalists, and those working in the press industry. The race aims to honor the journalism profession, spread the spirit of community sports, improve health and a healthy lifestyle for journalists, reporters in particular and the community in general.

The race includes distances of 5km and 10km, and for the first time the Organizing Committee has created a distance of 21.6km - a number that honors the journalism profession and celebrates Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.

In addition to the race's budget, the Organizing Committee will spend part of the budget with businesses and philanthropists to build schools and give computers to students in mountainous areas.

Despite the heavy rain that lasted for a long time on the morning of June 25, the runners still participated in the race with a serious spirit and effort. At the end of the race, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes to individuals with outstanding achievements.

Established in 2003 under the auspices of the Ministry of Information and Communications , ICT Press Club has been operating for 20 years. Over the past 20 years, ICT Press Club has voted on 10 annual ICT events, attracting the attention of the IT business community as well as readers nationwide.

In addition, the ICT Press Club also regularly organizes seminars on hot issues in the ICT sector in Vietnam, attracting the attention of management agencies, experts, businesses and the media, creating social effects to promote the development of the ICT sector.
