52 winning works of the Children's Painting Contest with the theme "Voice of the Green Forest"

This afternoon, December 4, the Quang Tri Provincial Children's House coordinated with the Center for Sustainable Forest Management Training and Forest Certification to organize the summary and award ceremony of the children's painting contest with the theme "Voice of the Green Forest".

After the launch, the organizing committee received 350 entries from students from grades 1 to 9 in the province. The jury selected 125 paintings to be exhibited at the Provincial Children's House from August 12 to August 16, 2024.

At the same time, 52 best paintings were selected for awards, including: 2 A prizes, 4 B prizes, 6 C prizes and 40 Encouragement prizes. The A prize went to Tran Hoang Thuy Lam, Advanced Painting Class of Quang Tri Children's House with the work "Dream" and Tran Nguyen Bao An, Basic Painting Class of Quang Tri Children's House with the work "The Forest Calls for Help".

According to the evaluation of the organizing committee of the contest, each painting of the participating children expressed the theme, praising the beauty and significance of the forest to humans and all things, and the love of children for the forest. The children also transformed themselves into the green forest to confide in and speak for the forest. The paintings expressed the children's dreams and the forest's dreams for a bright future, calling on everyone to join hands to protect the green, clean and beautiful forest.

This is a useful playground, thereby contributing to raising awareness for students, thereby creating paintings that are both of high artistic aesthetic value and extremely meaningful in protecting nature and the environment, increasing students' awareness of protecting nature and the living environment.

After the award ceremony, the organizing committee of the contest selected children with the most outstanding and meaningful works to participate in the National Workshop on Sustainable Environmental NatureEducation, including 2 contents: Painting exhibition at the workshop and participation in field trips and experiences at the opening ceremony of the sustainable environmental nature education class at the experimental forest of the North Central Forestry Science Center.
