In particular, training on professional work of the Association for more than 200 cadres and farmers; recruiting 115 new members; perfecting the Chairmen of the Farmers' Association in communes such as Gia Tran and Gia Phu. At the same time, 33 inspections were conducted at the association's bases, 23 supervisions were organized, and 2 dialogues were held...

In addition, over 150 tons of fertilizer were supplied for the spring crop to serve agricultural production; 35 training sessions were organized, transferring science and technology on cultivation, livestock breeding, and aquaculture to 3,560 members.

In particular, in the first 6 months of 2024, the Farmer Support Fund increased by 240 million VND, thereby the total fund source to date reached 8.6 billion VND/318 borrowing households. Coordinated with banks to create capital sources for farmers to borrow for economic development with outstanding loans of over 450 billion VND, lending to nearly 4,000 borrowing households.

In the first 6 months of 2024, Gia Vien District Farmers' Association will guide grassroots associations at all levels in registering specific tasks on building a new model rural residential area in 2024. As well as completing documents proving criteria and arranging household premises, improving the landscape and environment of villages and hamlets to ensure "bright - green - clean - beautiful" according to regulations.
