Ninh Binh tourism industry has achieved impressive results in the first 6 months of 2025: estimated to welcome over 7.2 million visitors and earn over 7,700 billion VND from tourism services. Notably, in June, Ninh Binh tourism continued to maintain its growth momentum, welcoming over 660,000 visitors.

At this time, Hang Mua Lotus Lagoon (Hoa Lu city) is at its most beautiful.

Tourism statistics show that in the first 6 months of the year, Ninh Binh welcomed more than 7.2 million visitors, reaching nearly 80% of the yearly plan. Notably, the number of international visitors reached over 1 million. In particular, the number of overnight guests achieved strong growth with nearly 1.4 million, an increase of over 21% over the same period in 2024.

This growth was achieved thanks to many activities to stimulate demand and attract tourists organized since the beginning of the year. The most prominent is the annual event Ninh Binh Tourism Week "The Golden Color of Tam Coc - Trang An" taking place at the end of May. This event has become the highlight of the summer tourist season in Ninh Binh, with the image of golden rice fields on both sides of the poetic Ngo Dong River, attracting a large number of domestic and foreign tourists.

In addition, famous destinations such as Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex, Cuc Phuong National Park, Hang Mua lotus pond, Van Long lagoon... also contribute significantly to the overall success of Ninh Binh tourism. These are positive signals showing the growth in both quantity and quality of the local tourism industry.

With the results achieved, Ninh Binh tourism industry is very close to the target set for 2025 of welcoming over 9.1 million visitors, including 2 million international visitors. The current growth rate shows that Ninh Binh can completely surpass this number.

In particular, after the merger and arrangement of administrative units, Ninh Binh province promises to open up more prospects for tourism development from its rich natural and cultural resources. The total number of visitors to the three provinces ( Ha Nam , Nam Dinh and Ninh Binh) is estimated to reach nearly 15 million, including more than 2 million international visitors, with total revenue from tourism activities expected to reach over 13,400 billion VND. This affirms the great potential and increasingly solid position of Ninh Binh tourism in the tourism picture of the region and the whole country.
