Aerobic Vietnam wins Gold Medal at World Cup 2024

The athletes won the Gold Medal in the 5-person group performance.

On the final day of the tournament (May 26), the Vietnam Aerobic team competed in the 5-person group event with the following athletes: Nguyen Che Thanh, Le Hoang Phong, Tran Ngoc Thuy Vi, Nguyen Viet Anh and Vuong Hoai An.

There are 8 teams competing in this event: Vietnam, Hungary, Finland, Japan (02 teams), Romania, France, China.

Surpassing strong teams, the Vietnamese athletes group successfully completed their test with a professional score of 19,866 points, thereby winning the Gold Medal. The French team ranked second with 19,241 points and the Hungarian team ranked third with 19,155 points.

Competing in the 03 set event, the Vietnamese team including Le Hoang Phong, Nguyen Che Thanh, Tran Ngoc Thuy Vi finished the test with 19,077 points, thereby ranking 5th overall. The Bulgarian team won the gold medal in this event with 20,033 points.

In the mixed doubles event, the pair Hoang Gia Bao - Tran Pham Huyen Linh did not have the best results, so they ranked 6th with 17,600 points. At the tournament, Aerobic Vietnam did not compete in the individual events for men and women.

The 2024 World Cup will take place over two days (May 25 and 26) in Yokohama City (Japan), gathering the world's best aerobic gymnastics teams. In addition to the championship events, the Organizing Committee will also include events for the youth age group.

It is known that from June 8 to 10, Vietnam will host the 2024 Asian Aerobic Championship. This tournament will gather teams from 13 countries and territories of the continent.
