Kaspersky's survey shows that AI can help travelers optimize their journeys, but vigilance is indispensable when using this technology.

Only 28% of survey respondents have used AI to plan their travel .

However, 96% of them were satisfied, with 44% rating it “excellent” and 52% “good.”

Notably, 84% said they would continue to use AI on future trips.

AI often helps with destination research, event recommendations, and choosing accommodations or restaurants.

However, direct service booking using AI is less common, only between 38% and 45%.

Some people even turn to AI for visa advice, but the risk of misinformation is quite high.

Kaspersky warns that AI can create “hallucinations” that make users believe in false data.

AI promises to become a “travel assistant” but humans still need to retain decision-making power.
