Digital Museum: When Technology Tells the Story of the Homeland

TM5 Square, Phu Cuong Urban Area, Rach Gia has become the hottest, most surprising and most emotional destination for many people in An Giang thanks to a series of special creative experiences called "Digital Museum". Mr. M (Rach Gia, An Giang) came to Viettel 's exhibition space with his wife and young daughter, and was continuously surprised by the technological applications inside the museum. Each real-life drawing was analyzed and transformed into a moving element in the "future city". Next was his own digital portrait created from familiar local locations, printed on a shirt as a souvenir.

That is the “Digital Museum” at Viettel Y-Fest, a journey to explore An Giang local culture, expressed by interactive technology and cross-cutting art, encouraging each person to become a “co-creator”. Stepping in here, anyone can touch the power of technology through different senses, and freely create based on their personality and personal emotions. The biggest attraction is in the “Identity Portrait” area with Fustic.Studio’s New Media Art technology combined with the power of Viettel 5G. Each person’s face will be recreated as a unique Mosaic Picture, made up of thousands of images associated with An Giang local culture.

With the technological power of Viettel, and the creativity of young people's art from Fustic.Studio, the "Digital Museum" at Y-Fest has received positive emotions from An Giang people, from children, students, middle-aged parents, to groups of young families.

The stage was brightly lit, modern stage effects and a magnificent sound system turned the Y-Fest 2025 music night in An Giang into a sublime highlight. The extremely "hot" artists participating in the show included Vu Cat Tuong, ISAAC, Ha Nhi, Codynamvo and DJ Emma.

But perhaps the moment that moved thousands of spectators the most was the performance of Vu Cat Tuong - a native of An Giang, now returning to her hometown in the Viettel Y-Fest music night with 3 hit songs "Tung La", "Vet Mua" and "Mo".

“Finally, I can go back to my hometown to sing. I have been waiting for this moment for 12 years. On October 2, 1992, a person was born in An Giang, not in Rach Gia but in Long Xuyen, but now we are one family, right?”, Vu Cat Tuong emotionally and inspiredly shared on the Y-Fest stage in An Giang, where she was born and raised. This recording quickly went viral on Tiktok, becoming a source of inspiration for Vu Cat Tuong’s fans as well as the people of An Giang and those who love the Viettel Y-Fest concert brand.

Previously, Viettel Y-Fest took place in Hue with the participation of Quang Hung MasterD, a young singer from Hue, returning to perform in front of thousands of hometown audiences, burning up the show with hits associated with young people. The artist's dedication to his hometown audience and pride in performing on his homeland created special moments and emotions for the Viettel Y-Fest show.

Viettel Y-Fest An Giang also has the participation of ISAAC, Ha Nhi, Codynamvo and DJ Emma bringing an emotional and impressive performance.

Choosing artists to perform in their hometowns is an extremely creative way for Viettel to create a unique mark different from current concerts. This way is even more meaningful when Viettel organizes the Y-Fest 2025 event series across Vietnam with stops in 6 provinces/cities nationwide. At each place it passes, Viettel Y-Fest once again affirms the connection of technology - art - traditional cultural identity.
