The conference informed the core contents and outstanding results of the 13th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee, especially the major orientations in preparation for the 14th Party Congress; at the same time, thoroughly grasped the spirit, contents and results of the 12th Military Party Congress.

Concluding the conference, Major General Tran Dai Thang, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of the 12th Corps, requested that Party committees and Party organizations at all levels in the Corps Party Committee promptly disseminate and thoroughly grasp the conference's contents to all cadres, Party members and the masses in the unit; at the same time, concretize them into action programs and specialized resolutions suitable to the practical situation, contributing to improving the quality of Party building work and building a comprehensively strong, "exemplary, typical" unit.

The conference was held to promptly deploy important contents of the Central Committee and the Central Military Commission, helping cadres, party members and the masses in the entire Corps to have a deeper understanding of the situation and revolutionary tasks in the current period; thereby consolidating political capacity, promoting the spirit of solidarity, responsibility and determination to successfully carry out political tasks, building the 12th Corps to be revolutionary, disciplined, elite, gradually modern, and excellently completing all assigned tasks.
