AMATA VN – Leading the wave of global investment shift

Amata VN Public Joint Stock Company (AVN), established in 2012, is an investment joint stock company with core business of developing and operating industrial, commercial and residential zones in Vietnam.

At a recent press conference, AMATA VN announced strategic plans to explore investment potential in four industrial real estate projects across strategic economic regions spanning the North, Central and South of Vietnam, with a total area of ​​3,000 hectares.

The projects focus mainly on green and existing industries, with a total foreign direct investment estimated at over US$6 billion. Amata is confident that the projects will be highly attractive to foreign investors, expected to boost revenue growth by 15-20% by 2024.

Ms. Somhatai Panichewa, CEO and Managing Director of AMATA VN Public Joint Stock Company (AMATAV), announced the company's strategic plan and investment overview for 2024 at the press conference "AMATA Vietnam: Accelerating Development in 2024 and Beyond". Ms. Somhatai also stated that in nearly 30 years of investing in Vietnam, an ideal destination for foreign investors, AMATA has achieved success in developing 3 industrial parks and 1 joint venture project with international partners. The above projects include (1) Amata City Bien Hoa Industrial Park, (2) Amata City Long Thanh Industrial Park, (3) Amata City Ha Long Industrial Park and (4) Quang Tri Industrial Park (Joint Venture). With a total investment value of 860 million USD on 3,000 hectares, these projects have attracted more than 200 enterprises in the industrial and commercial sectors, attracting an investment value of over 6 billion USD and creating more than 60,000 jobs.

Amata City Bien Hoa Industrial Park, the first project located in Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai Province, is considered a pioneering ecological industrial park (ECO-IP) model to deploy other projects in Vietnam. Amata City Long Thanh Industrial Park is a high-tech industrial park in Southern Vietnam, only 10 km from Long Thanh International Airport. In Northern Vietnam, Amata City Ha Long Industrial Park in Quang Ninh Province, under the Quang Yen Economic Zone, possesses great appeal to foreign investors with attractive tax incentives from the Vietnamese Government.

Recently, AMATA has also cooperated with Marubeni Corporation (the Group's international partner), selling 20% ​​of its shares to Marubeni with the aim of strengthening its business activities in technology, innovation, marketing and finance. In addition, Quang Tri Industrial Park located in Central Vietnam is currently under development as a joint venture project with two partners including: Vietnam - Singapore Industrial Park Joint Venture Company Limited (VSIP) and Sumitomo Corporation.

Currently, thanks to the interest of many foreign partners and customers in the investment environment in Vietnam, about 60 hectares of land have been "reserved", expecting the company's revenue to grow by 15-20% this year.
