In early December, in the grounds of Da Lat City Flower Garden with brilliant flowers welcoming the 10th Flower Festival, more than 1,200 cadres, women's union members, female cadres, workers, civil servants of agencies, departments and branches in the city, students, female union members, youth, Ao Dai Ambassadors, Miss Charity, Miss, Runner-up of Charming Ao Dai Da Lat 2022, 2023 in graceful Ao Dai participated in the program "Ao Dai Parade - Performance". This is an activity within the framework of the 2024 Da Lat City Ao Dai Festival to welcome the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival.
Present early in the morning to participate in the program "Ao Dai Parade - Performance", the mother and daughter of Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Khanh - President of the Women's Union of Ward 9 said: "Nearly 100 cadres and women's union members of Ward 9 came here, each wearing an ao dai with pride in the traditional costume of Vietnamese women. I also encouraged my daughter to wear an ao dai to participate in the program so that she can understand and love the ao dai of the nation. In my opinion, this is not only a cultural - artistic and sports exchange activity but also an opportunity to show the talents of women, create a ripple effect, arouse the responsibility to preserve and promote the value of ao dai, the traditional costume of the Vietnamese people. At the same time, encourage, motivate and replicate models of culture - arts, physical education and sports for the masses, improve the physical and mental health of women union members".

More than 1,200 women, each with different looks, body shapes, and ages, were proud to wear the traditional ao dai. That is also the humane and positive message of the 2024 Da Lat Ao Dai Festival: "Ao dai for all", affirming that anyone can shine in the ao dai. This message is not only aesthetic but also expresses the aspiration to make the ao dai a close and friendly outfit for everyone in contemporary life.
This is the first time an Ao Dai Festival has brought a breakthrough perspective on the inclusiveness and diversity of traditional Vietnamese costumes. The 2024 Da Lat Ao Dai Festival is built on the main concept with 3 levels of emotions "Pride - Interference - Emotion". This is not simply a fashion show but also a street Ao Dai festival closely associated with the life and people of Da Lat.
The highlight of this year's Ao Dai Festival is the live show at Hoa Binh area - a historical and cultural location of Da Lat city on the night of December 22. The open space of this area will be maximized to create a unique stage, combined with a modern lighting and sound system. The collections on display are a harmonious combination of traditional beauty and contemporary breath. In particular, for the first time in Da Lat, an "Ao Dai collection" is presented by hundreds of drones in the sky, creating a unique visual experience.
