Ashley Young is about to be unemployed at the age of 39

Ashley Young will leave Everton at the end of this season.

The former MU defender ended his 68-match journey with "The Toffees" since joining the team on a free transfer in 2023.

Manager David Moyes said: "Since returning to the club, I have found Young to be a great professional, with exceptional leadership qualities within the squad. His versatility, experience and understanding will be of great benefit to both the team and myself."

Young personally has no intention of retiring. According to Sky Sports journalist Dharmesh Sheth, the former Manchester United star is receiving interest from many clubs both domestically and abroad.

Young has experience as a commentator. He was a guest on talkSPORT at Euro 2024, appeared on Sky Sports ' Monday Night Football and reported on the Champions League on Prime Video . It is a move that will allow Young to continue his involvement in football in a new role if he is suspended.
